Monthly PTMs Foster

Parent-Teacher Collaboration

n an effort to foster a strong bond
between parents and teachers,
IG o v e r n m e n t s c h o o l s i n
Telangana have introduced an
innovative practice Parent-Teacher
Meetings (PTMs) held every third
Saturday of the month. Since its
inception during the academic year
2022-23, PTMs have proven to be a
vital platform for collaborative
efforts towards the child's progress.
The Department of School
Education, Telangana, aims to
enhance the effectiveness of PTMs by
implementing the 3E approach -
Educate, Engage, and Empower.
Through this approach, parents are
educated on various themes related
to their child's growth and well-being.
The themes include positive
parenting, nutrition, cyber security,
and creating conducive learning
