He got the school building some of the dignitaries of the village who
renovated by taking up minor repairs,
getting it white washed, arranging running
blackboards with letters of alphabets and
wall were painted with pictures of
different animals, plants, flowers etc.,
These efforts of mine worked wonders.
He also convinced the parents to send
differently abled children/Children with
Special Needs (CWSN) to school.
The HM adopted play method and
provided opportunities to participate in
games and sports, first at school level then
at inter school level and finally at the
Mandal level. Of course some of them
exhibited their amusing skills and not only
got prizes but also invited the attention of
120 Transformation of Schools into Vibrant Learning Hubs
later came forward for them to help as a
charity. As a result of this the HM was
successful in attracting the students:
Umema Farhat D/O Fazeel Ahmed, Farya
Naaz, Ahmed, Talifa, Sumaiah, Suhana and
Sidra to name some of them from
neighboring English medium school.
Opinions of Parents and some students:
"I saw Mr. Khaleel sir visiting door
to door and was forced to visit his
school. When I saw the environment of
the school adored with the essence of
learning, I immediately made up my
mind to join my two daughters in MPPS
Soanpet with drawing them froman
English Medium School even though I
paide tuition fee for the entire academic
year.
"My daughter Umema, besides
learning her mother tongue has been
doing good at Maths and other
modern subjects and also
participating in Essay writing and
drawing competition at district level.
This is really a matter of pride for me".
