MESSAGE

It is for the second consecutive year that the State of Telangana, along with
the other states in India is struggling through the unprecedented worldwide
Covid-19 crisis. Its impact on the regular educational system forced us to continue
alternative methods of imparting education where students will be benefitted within
the safety of staying in homes.

Following the Covid Response Action Plan provided by Ministry of Education,
Government of India, the Department of Education, Telangana has designed the
present Alternative Academic Calendar keeping the needs of the students of Telangana
in view. A 4 week level wise bridge course is being initiated for mitigating the learning
loss.

I hope the teachers will follow this calendar and use various social networking
platforms to transact the level wise bridge course and class wise teaching to help students
continue the studies with a good foundation in topics and learning outcomes prescribed for
that class.

I congratulate SCERT, Telangana, for their efforts in preparing this
Alternative Academic Calendar.
