Outcome
The visit of children and teachers to
the school has become a daily practice and
the headmaster was able to infuse the
interest to learn, read and write in
children. This helped retaining the exiting
students and attract the new ones. As of,
around 240 students enrolled and they
attend the school regularly. Over the time,
the school not only witnessed a
substantial increase in student enrolment
but the school staff were also able to
improve the learning capacities of the
students.
When compared with the present
academic performance of students to that
of early years, the children are
performing well in exams and the
knowledge imparted is helping them to
acquire a seat in Gurukul schools and
model schools.
18 Transformation of Schools into Vibrant Learning Hubs
The school is now being funded from
CSR fund and offereddonations in the
form of sound system worth Rs.26000,
one Rs 40000 worth digital projector
worth, Xerox cum scanner for about
Rs.16000/- and school gardening of
Rs.25000. The local community
including a few parents and other
organizations are the major contributors
for the development of student-friendly
ambience to benefit students and
community at large. After the school has
been remodeled, the parents have been
encouraged to purchase school uniform
with school logo printed on it. The
students come in school uniform on
Wednesday and Saturday.
